One of the big tests when taking over electronic cigarette powerhouse Totally Wicked was assuming their strong personality and identity in all of our work. It was important that we did not alienate their passionate customer base and bustling online community whilst seeking new customers and advocates.

The tricky world of electronic cigarette marketing meant that we had to be careful in the claims that we made regarding the product’s medicinal properties and ability to help smokers quit their habit. As such, we re-directed our marketing towards a claim we could substantiate: that people can save great amounts of money by switching from traditional smoking products to electronic cigarettes.Our design team crafted informative graphics detailing the savings that smokers can make in the switch and how they may resonate in real-life, offering up alternative investments and determining the true costs of traditional tobacco cigarettes.
As one of the UK’s first electronic cigarette retailers; Totally Wicked believe that they are entitled to be eating at the top table in all forms of marketing. When we took over their project, many of the search terms that they were targeting were languishing far below their expectations. With a concentrated effort, 81.25% of their targeted keywords are now established on the first page of Google results. An admirable 62.5% of these search terms are regularly appearing in the first 3 results.Due to the advertising constraints imposed via Google and Facebook, all results and traffic were achieved via the Organic approach.
